Rebuilding a streetwear storefront from "abandoned every 4 of 5 carts" to a checkout that actually converts.
UrbanWear was selling well at pop-up markets but their online conversion was 0.6%. The store was on a free Shopify theme with no brand identity, a 5-step checkout, and zero retargeting in place.
Worst of all — about 78% of customers who added items to cart never completed checkout. No abandoned-cart emails. No SMS. Just lost revenue.
We rebuilt the storefront with a custom Liquid theme that reflects the brand's gritty, urban energy — high-contrast photography, bold typography, generous product spacing.
For checkout, we shortened it to two steps using Shopify's accelerated checkout features and Shop Pay. For abandoned carts, we set up a 4-email + 2-SMS Klaviyo flow that recovers about 14% of dropped sessions.
Finally, we wired up Meta Pixel and a Google Ads conversion API endpoint so the brand could finally run retargeting ads that actually attribute.
"We were leaving so much money on the table without realising it. Within 4 weeks we were doing more revenue than we'd done in the previous quarter. The Klaviyo flows pay for themselves every week."
